I work at the University of Strathclyde's School of Education. I also work with Ghent University's Department of Movement and Sports Sciences where I graduated with a master's degree in Physical Education and Movement Sciences, and a doctorate in Health Sciences.

My research explores health, movement behaviours and movement skills in children and adolescents with a focus on learning and development. This includes work on assessment and monitoring (observation tools, motion devices, self and proxy reports), individual and environmental factors (psychosocial and cognitive aspects), and intervention (design, delivery and evaluation). 

Overall, my research aims to further understand health and wellbeing and to better promote an active and healthy lifestyle among youth.
