Personal Statement

I joined the department as lecturer in 2019. My research interests surround supply chain management with a focus on sustainability, competitiveness and innovation in fast moving consumer goods. I currently teach across a number of undergraduate and postgraduate classes, and contribute to the department's 'Business  innovation & networks' research stream.

I have presented my research internationally and published in high ranking journals, including Supply Chain Management: an International Journal and Production Planning and Control.

I previously worked as a lecturer in Fashion Marketing at Glasgow Caledonian Univeristy, and have held both teaching and research roles at the University of Strathclyde. I obtained both my PhD and MSc in Supply Chain & Operations management from the University of Strathclyde.

Research Interests

Coming from a marketing and operations background, my research interests surround supply chain management. I am particularly interested in sustainability and innovation and the maximisation of competitiveness throughout the supply chain, with a focus on fast moving consumer goods. More recently, I have been exploring topics of circularity in UK agri-food and supply chain resilience following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Teaching Interests

I have covered a broad range of marketing topics throughout my teaching career, including introductory marketing, strategic marketing, consumer behaviour, communications and international marketing. This year I am class co-ordinator for Supply Chain Digitalisation, as well as teaching Marketing Research in a Digital Age and Managing Integrated Marketing Communications. I am also involved in Marketing Works and dissertation supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
