Personal Statement

I am a Chancellor’s Fellow in Transport Policy at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. I received my PhD in Transport from Imperial College London. Before joining the University of Strathclyde, I held postdoctoral research associate and research fellow positions at Imperial College London. My research focuses on users’ behaviour modelling of integrated transport and energy systems: I pioneered realistic quantitative models of electric vehicle users’ behaviour. I planned, managed and pursued research in several projects in electric mobility and sustainable transport, including EPSRC’s “Grid economics and planning and business models for electric mobility”, EPSRC’s “LC TRANSFROMS - Low Carbon Transitions of Fleet Operations in Metropolitan Sites”, Fund Denmark’s “DiRECTLY - Databased REal-time CollaboraTive Logistics sYstem, and Innovate UK’s “E-FLEX - Real-world Energy Flexibility through EV Energy Trading”. I am a member of the Transportation Research Board of the US National Academies Standing Committee on Alternative Transportation Fuels and Technologies and of the UC Davies’s International EV Policy Council. I collaborate with the World Economic Forum’s Global New Mobility Coalition.
