Beijing Institute of Technology Zunhai (BITZ) Collaborative Partnership

Partnering with senior staff from HaSS, I co-led a collaborative partnership with BITZ which saw delegations of 35 (2018) and 40 (2019) staff from BITZ attend a 4-week programme of academic development and cultural exchange. The programme was successful and initial and follow-up evaluations confirmed that teaching methods at BITZ are being transformed as a result. This initiative resulted in a strategic partnership development with Strathclyde that extended beyond the initial partnership, bringing significant income and esteem to the institution. This collaboration resulted in £26K of consultancy income to OSDU.
