The programme of the visit to IUAV, Venice, Italy, included lectures on sustainable urban planning, regeneration and reuse of built heritage; work on co-editing a book in collaboration with an IUAV academic, and meetings with staff and students
Key findings
The lectures were well received by UG students and attending staff. Co-editing of the book on Integrated Urban Planning progressed as 16 submitted papers were reviewed. Meetings with PG students regarding their submissions to the book took place. A meeting with the Director of PG programmes took place to explore collaboration opportunities.
