Abstract
The thesis analyzes four medieval towers along the historical walls of the city of Como and proposes a series of interventions to repair, consolidate and reuse them. An exhaustive investigation program has been carried out, through an accurate historical research, and geometric/topographic/pathological surveys. This was followed by the definition of a detailed diagnostic and monitoring project and a plan of ordinary maintenance and extraordinary repairs. Consolidation interventions and revitalizing functions have been designed for each one of the towers. The work has been completed by the definition of a historic-artistic itinerary connecting all the medieval monuments of Como.
